I can't remember feeling upset with Dean at the end - but I need to rewatch. What was it that bothered you so much?

The way Dean left Cas in the hospital - it is a reasonable decision but could they make it not look like he tried to leave this place in a hurry? It felt like Cas is useless to him now so he wants to leave ASAP. And Sam trying to persuade him to bring Cas with them is not helping, it just strengthened the feeling.

And I read some really nasty comments on Dean which made me feel even more sad.

aww elsie....i love dean and cas' relationship but didn't feet that way about dean in this episode.
HOWEVER, i felt that way about dean in an earlier one, where he was SO MEAN to sam! (can't recall the title now)

I've been having problem with how the writers wrote Dean for a while now, but since I'm a Jensen fan (have given up on the story lines a long time ago) I don't really care much as long as I can see him (&Jared)

But since S7 Dean's character is so strange and now 717 just makes me really angry on how they tried to dis Dean while praising Sam and Cas, I think it's very unfair.

But well, it's just a tv show and they are just fictional characters, maybe I overreacted. I should stop reading some of the comments, really should do so...

Marsha I hope you are right that all the strange Deans are for some future purpose (esp. Sam blaming Dean for saving his soul - really? He has the memory from hell and he still prefers to stay in Hell?? But he was in pain and I thought it is just to add Dean's guilt for some future storyline...)

Some Cas girls really hates Dean, I was shocked to see those comments. But in S6 they didn't do well with Cas' character, just like back in S4 I really didn't like how they treat Sam's character. I hope they stop twisting other characters to make one character look better :-(

i love sera's work and people have said that they think she plays favorites with sam. however, i've never noticed that.
the season isn't over yet (and god willing hopefully we'll get season eight) - let's see how they wrap things up. we also get an extra episode (so six more to come, yay).

again, it's too bad that people are so mired into a particular character that they sometimes fail to see the forest for the trees. :/
what the heck are they going to do when the show ends -- they'll be sorry then.

Honestly I don't really like Sera's style, but still, she has some good episodes. I was a solely Dean girl back then but I don't use those horrible words to other characters...think about it, it's just a show and every show has some issues with characters, right? I remember I read from somewhere fans were really angry with Spike raped Buffy or something.

*sigh* I guess I'm just at the wrong time *cough*at my period*cough*

And I'm going to drool over Jensen for a while, remind me that I'm a Jensen girl, stay away with the fandom fight!:p

i'm a deangirl because i think i understand him the most (plus you know, he's HOT, lol).
however, overall it's the show that i love.
i have no idea re the buffy thing, as i'd never watched. (yes, i know. heh)

I just watched again and yeah, it did feel rushed, didn't it? But I think typical Dean in a way - trying to move on as best he can after yet another blow. I wonder if something has been edited out here too - that often happens where we feel there is a gaping hole I think.

I really hope it is the case, something was cut off because of the time of the episode!
