S8 & Vancon

Me and several friends who are currently studying in Vancouver planned to go to Vancon together and then do some 'set seeing' afterwards.

But turns out...the show would most likely be filming in studio or in remote area (no spoiler here but you got my point if you watched the season finale), esp. in August, at the beginning of filming.

And I checked the air ticket price, it's INSANE.

Not sure if I should go to Vancouver anymore. What a bummer *sigh*

They should be well into filming by the time August rolls around since they start back July 10th. My friends and I are going with hopes of the luck we had last year - Would love to see you there Elsie ;p

I guess they'd be like, in episode 6 or something...hopeful Dean can be back by then. (but think of S6 it made me nervous - they kept the brothers apart for half a season! O_o)

Plus the air ticket is like $2000 and it's not even direct flight, holy cow!!

I still want to go but just not sure if it's worth going, with such high expenses...will keep an eye on S8 news and air ticket and cross my fingers >.

Believe me I understand the cost, it's ridiculous! My flight is $1000 and I'm flying in from Virginia plus the hotel and the con tickets, we need to rob a bank just to afford these cons anymore. This may be my last one so I'm going to make the most of it. Hope you can make it work somehow :)

$1000 from Virginia!? god...we really need to think about rob banks! It's holiday season so everything about Vancouver is expensive or what!

But I will try my best! there's still 4 months left, maybe there will be some good news :-)
